How do you set the idle time out period? The default is a bit too short for what I am doing.

There's a setting for that in kts.ini, which you can conveniently edit using Start->All Programs->KTS->Setup KpyM Telnet SSH Server. In my own case I simply deleted the number I saw there, and I have not had a session time out at all since then,
