can you add the option to kill the session if you close the telnet/ssh window? vs. a network interuption/delay-- where the session stays alive for you to reconnect later?
it must know the difference... watching session.exe "Other I/O" there is traffic for 1 minute if the network disconnects... but if you simply close the window, the I/O stops immediatly.
